Foreign Filing Costs

The approximate cost for foreign counsel to file national applications covering various goods/services varies significantly by country. We have developed close relationships with various trademark firms and can offer various cost savings, such as flat fees for securing a CTM Registration and/or volume discounts.

Our firm’s costs are generally based upon the amount of time it takes for us to correspond with you and our foreign colleagues to secure the filing of an application.  Our costs are provided on a flat fee basis that realistically reflects the amount of professional time that is required to facilitate the filing of a foreign application. Since we handle a large volume of foreign filings and use only firms that offer responsive and superior work product, our fees can often be significantly discounted when volume filing projects are requested. Of course, if we or our foreign colleagues are required to make arguments to overcome any refusal issued by a foreign trademark office and/or address any third-party objection, additional costs and fees will　be required.
